“Friends of Best Buddies” is a group of friends, families and co-workers who support the Best Buddies mission of friendship for kids with disabilities across Long Island.
A $20 donation to Best Buddies New York and TJ Finley’s will provide complimentary food and happy hour drink specials. Please come and support this worthy charity while enjoying a fun evening filled with networking, friends and exciting raffles and prizes!

Best Buddies Day wiht the NY Islanders

Best Buddies students, family and friends are invited to Monday, January 19th, 2pm the NY Islanders vs. Washington Capitals at Nassau Coliseum.
Purchase tickets for $25 ($5 off the box office!) and a portion of the proceeds goes to benefit Best Buddies New York. When we reach the 200 tickets sold mark, we get the Family Fan Fest at our annual Friendship Walk in May. The Family Fan Fest is an interactive NHL theme park that includes a slapshot booth, moon bounce and obstacle course! Please purchase tickets before December 31st. Let’s show the NY Islanders our Best Buddies spirit!

The Buddies United in Leadership Development
Dallas & Houston, Texas
The Buddies United In Leadership Development (B.U.I.L.D.) program is an initiative that supports the Best Buddies mission by training individuals with intellectual disabilities from our programs to become skilled public speakers and leaders in their community. BUILD trainings will be conducted in Dallas and Houston in the fall to train Buddy Ambassador to speak on behalf of the Best Buddies mission.
Best Buddies staff in both Dallas and Houston are recruiting volunteers to join their BUILD Committee. The committee in Dallas and the committee in Houston will work to plan the BUILD training sessions for the Buddies, assist the Buddies as speech coaches, and help secure resources so that Buddies can attend the Best Buddies national Leadership Conference.

The Main Street Mile is a one-mile competitive run and non-competitive friendship walk from the beach in Southampton to Main Street in the heart of the village.
Open to all ages and fitness levels, this family friendly event will benefit Best Buddies New York, an organization dedicated to fostering friendships between developmentally disabled individuals and their typically developing peers.
