The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is a fun-filled community fundraiser to support your local Best Buddies programs of inclusion. Riders will begin the day at Spitzie’s in Colonie and ride throughout the beautiful Helderberg mountains with a Colonie police department escort. The conclusion of the ride will take place in the Town of Colonie Park where approximately 100 riders, their friends and family and Best Buddies participants enjoy a delicious BBQ, live entertainment and field games.
Best Buddies New York is an official charity partner with Centurion Cycling where you can participate in a 25 mile, 50 mile or 100 mile ride.
Team Best Buddies is an exciting and fun charity cycling event that supports the programs and services of Best Buddies New York, and at the same time raises fundamental awareness of our vital friendship, integrated employment, and leadership programs. Come ride with us and you'll be educating people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities how to be advocates for social inclusion in Albany and beyond!
