New York City Buddies Finish Successful 2009-2010 School Year

Best Buddies New York
Best Buddies programs in 4 colleges, 6 high schools, and 8 middle schools throughout the New York City region created nearly 300 one-to-one friendships for people with intellectual disabilities this year.
The lives of countless others were impacted by Best Buddies’ mission of friendship in schools throughout the metro region. Participants from the region’s chapters enjoyed coming together for the First Annual New York City Friendship Walk on April 11.
The day was filled with celebration, inspiration, and most importantly, friendship. Leaders from 8 NYC chapters will be attending the Best Buddies International Leadership Conference in Indiana in July. |
