Thank you for supporting us in our efforts to raise money for Best Buddies New York.
ABOUT BEST BUDDIES:
The Mission: to remedy the fact that we live in a society in which people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are still socially marginalized because they seem “different.”
Through Best Buddies, thousands of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have successfully moved from segregation and desolation to a new acceptance in their family and community. In Turn- Best Buddies has created a new spirit of public service for thousands of volunteers that will last a lifetime.
Best Buddies NY currently provides programs to more than 2,750 people throughout the state in 32 middle schools, 25 high schools, and 9 colleges. As a result, this year 13,700 New York residents - including participants’ families, friends, and teachers - will be positively impacted by Best Buddies programs.
